Why HELIX

Don't take our word for it. Read the chromatogram.

Anyone can print "99% pure" on a label. We publish the actual lab trace behind every batch we ship — pick a compound below and look at it yourself.

Every vial carries a batch code. Enter it at checkout support and we'll send the signed PDF for your exact lot — not a generic sample certificate.

The gap

Why "research grade" means nothing on its own

Independent surveys of unregulated peptide suppliers keep finding the same thing: what's on the label often isn't what's in the vial. Here's where we sit.

HELIX every batch, third-party≥99.0%
Compounding pharmacy typical spec~97%
Unverified online seller surveyed average~72%
Worst case found in survey same "99%" label41%

Illustrative figures for this demo. The point stands: the label is a claim, the certificate is evidence.

Our process

From synthesis to your bench

Five stages, and a batch can fail out at any one of them. Roughly 3% do.

  1. 01

    Synthesize

Solid-phase peptide synthesis to research specifications, in an FDA-registered US facility.

  2. 02

    Purify

Preparative RP-HPLC strips truncated sequences and residual reagents from the crude product.

  3. 03

    Verify

An independent lab runs HPLC and mass spec on every batch. Below 99.0%, the batch doesn't ship.

  4. 04

    Lyophilize

Freeze-dried and sealed under inert gas, which is what keeps a peptide stable on a shelf.

  5. 05

    Ship cold

Packed with phase-change gel and dispatched within 24 hours, tracked door to door.

Methodology

What each test actually proves

Four tests, four different questions. A supplier showing you only one of them is showing you the flattering one.

RP-HPLC — "how much of this is the peptide?"

Reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography separates the sample by how strongly each component sticks to the column. Every distinct compound leaves at its own retention time and draws its own peak. Purity is that main peak's area as a share of total area — which is exactly the trace you can pull up above.

Mass spectrometry — "is it the right peptide?"

HPLC tells you the sample is 99% one thing. It can't tell you that thing is what you ordered. Mass spec weighs the molecule and compares it against the theoretical mass of the sequence. Off by more than a fraction of a dalton and it's the wrong compound, however pure.

LAL endotoxin — "will it contaminate the assay?"

Bacterial endotoxin survives sterilization and wrecks cell-culture work at concentrations far below anything you'd see. The Limulus amebocyte lysate assay detects it down to fractions of an EU per milligram. Our ceiling is 0.25 EU/mg.

Karl Fischer — "will it survive the shelf?"

Residual water is what degrades a lyophilized peptide over time. Karl Fischer titration measures exactly how much moisture stayed behind after freeze-drying. Under 8% and the vial is stable in a freezer for years.

Formulated, tested, stored and shipped from a single FDA-registered facility in the United States. No transshipment, no repackaging, no mystery middle leg.
FAQ

Questions, answered

Are these products for human use?

No. All HELIX products are strictly for laboratory and research use only, and are not intended for human or animal consumption. We don't dress this up — anyone implying otherwise is selling you a legal problem alongside the vial.

Do you provide a certificate of analysis?

Yes, for every batch, tied to the lot number printed on your vial. Not a representative sample from a good month — the certificate for the exact vial in your hand.

Can I see the COA before I buy?

You just did. The explorer at the top of this page pulls the current shipping batch for each compound, chromatogram included. The signed PDF comes with your order.

Which lab do you use?

We rotate between three independent ISO-accredited labs and name the one that ran your batch on the certificate. Rotating matters: a supplier who always uses the same lab has a relationship you can't audit.

How fast is shipping?

Dispatch within 24 hours via cold-chain, temperature-controlled shipping, tracked on every order.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Reach out within 48 hours and we'll replace any vial that arrives compromised — no questions asked, no photo forensics.
